Creative Homeschool Enrichment at Apex Arts Studios

At Apex Arts Studios, students learn inside a real working recording studio while exploring music, media, and creative technology. Our hands-on classes help homeschool middle and high school students build confidence, develop artistic skills, and gain real-world experience in music production, songwriting, recording, and creative branding.

Music Production & Beatmaking

  • To ensure personalized instruction, classes are kept small, typically 8–12 students per class.

  • Many homeschool families record these classes as fine arts, music, digital media, or elective credits as part of their homeschool program. Parents can determine how the course fits within their individual homeschool curriculum.

  • Classes have limited spots to maintain small group learning. If a class fills, families can join the waitlist and will be notified when new sessions are added.

  • Classes are designed to encourage independence and creativity for students, so parents typically drop off and return at the end of the session. Parents are always welcome to contact us with questions.

  • Many classes include a creative project such as recording a song, producing a beat, or creating a piece of content that students can share with family and friends.

    All classes take place inside Apex Arts Studios in North Hollywood, giving students the opportunity to learn in the same environment used by professional artists and producers.

    Small Class Sizes

    Classes are intentionally kept small so each student receives personalized guidance and support while developing their skills.

    Real Creative Projects

    Students will have opportunities to write songs, produce beats, record vocals, and develop creative content while learning how modern artists bring their work to life.

  • These classes are designed for homeschool students ages 11–18 who are interested in music, media, creativity, and storytelling. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a desire to learn.

  • We are working toward becoming an approved vendor with several homeschool charter programs. Families may wish to check with their charter school regarding enrichment funding options.

  • No experience is required. Our classes are designed for beginners as well as students who already have some interest in music, media, or creative technology.

  • All classes take place at Apex Arts Studios in North Hollywood, inside a professional recording studio environment where students can experience real creative tools and equipment.

  • Classes are held in 90-minute sessions once per week and typically run in 6-week sessions.
